CT-3 cuts out when wattage is around 29W

Hi,

I have a CT-3 and I'm trying to measure what wattage my phone is charging at. I have a 100W charger and two 20V/5A USB-C cables. I plug one USB-C cable from the charger to the CT-3, I then plug another USB-C cable from the CT-3 to my mobile phone. My CT-3 powers on, my phone displays Super Fast Charging 2.0 and I notice the wattage starts incrementing, once it gets around 29-30W, my CT-3 cuts out, charging stops and then it continues in this loop. I am running the latest CT-3 firmware.

Any advice or help would be fully appreciated, thank you in advance.

Hello customer
The CT-3 does not have a power-off function. If charging stops, the charger stops output.
Could you please explain your charger model and parameters?
Because some chargers have their own unique protocols, they may cause automatic power off.

Thank you for your reply and apologies for my delay in getting back to you, I didn't receive a notification of your reply.
I have tried this with two chargers and a Powerbank which all support over 45W output. The issue occurs when using all three chargers and using different 5A cables. I do not get the issue when using a 30W charger. I do not own any other power meters to test against.
I have included images which shows what each of the  chargers and Powerbank parameters are, I've also included one of the cable emark tests. Please let me know if you require more information, and if possible a brief instructions on how to retrieve this if using the power meter.

The connection in the first picture is wrong.
USB-A and USB-C cannot be input at the same time.
Our equipment supports reading of most standard protocols
Some devices may use proprietary protocols and therefore cannot be identified.
Final results are for reference only.

Understood, thank you for the advice, I will not use both in future. I thought both were needed to do the emark test as I saw a video on YouTube that did it this way.
I've very pleased with the CT-3 protocol reading and find it very useful.
What information is it that you need from the chargers I use? I feel it is more than coincidence that I am getting the issue with all three of my power devices that are 45W or over, they are all from different vendors.
I would appreciate any help you can offer to try resolve the issue. I am keen to know how much power each charger is delivering to devices that I have, this is one of the main reasons why I purchased the CT-3L.

Connect a 5V voltage to the PC interface of CT-3
Test again.
Our analysis should be that the current reached the critical value of the charger, causing the charger to lose power and protect.
