Hello,
I like my CT-2, which is of conventional "sandwich" style construction. The newer, aluminum enclosure/housing looks like better mechanical protection of the device, than the sandwich.  But, I wonder if enclosure reduces air-flow/heat-elimination capability, thus leading to the device getting to warm??

I'm guessing CT-3, with faster microprocessor, bigger display, etc, will consume even more power.  Does CT-3 get warmer than CT-2?

Hi
Working under non-high current, the heat generation of CT-3 is very small,
The self-consumption of CT-3 is also very small.
If accurate measurement is required, CT-3 needs to be powered separately.

What is the resistance of the CT-3 current measuring "shunt" resistor?

Does the "sandwich" style version of CT-3 operate at a lower temperature than aluminum enclosure version of CT-3?  I would think sandwich style allows more air flow to cool the PCA.
