Did I just brick my CT-2 when I updated the firmware?

I have a CT-2 currently running 1.79.2.  I have upgraded firmware before.

Today I tried to upgrade to 1.79.6.  When I copy the firmware file I see the "134>134" indication and the screen get stuck on that for hours without finishing the firmware update:  


So after hours I have reboot the device.  When I reboot I get the "verification failed" message.



There is no option to select so I cannot follow the "firmware update failed" procedure in the documentation.

I can only boot into the bootloader mode.  
Please help - will it still be possible to get the CT-2 working again?
