Firmware upgrade enables 28V support for CT-3L

Firmware Upgrade Instructions

1.Download and extract the standalone firmware package at the bottom of this page.
 (The file name is the version number, e.g.,  SM-LD-00-B.zip  corresponds to  SM-LD-00-B.bin)

2.Disconnect the power supply to the USB meter.

3.Press and hold the scroll wheel to the left and do not release it.

4.While holding the scroll wheel to the left, connect the meter to your computer using the Micro-USB port.

5.After about 2 seconds, the screen will display “Bootloader…”, and your computer will recognize a new USB drive.

6.You can now release the scroll wheel.

7.Open the newly recognized USB drive, create a folder named “FW”, and copy the extracted firmware files into it.
 (The folder structure should look like   “U-Disk:/Module/FW/... ”  For exampl  “E:/Module/FW/SM-LD-00-B.bin”)

8.Wait for the file transfer to complete.

9.Restart the USB meter, and scroll the wheel to the right on the main screen.

10. Module Management  ->   [1]=>0x008   -> Firmware Upgrade

11.Done.
