S1 Electricity measure smart control programmable socket

Hi,
I have this S1 electricity measuring socket and wanted to know if the devices measures instantaneous power or average power.
Also, if there is any way i would know the program logic of how the power is being estimated and calculated.
I have attached the picture of device that i currently have.
