CT-2. Functionality

Tell me please does the tester CT-2 can do following?
1. Take power from external power supply to eliminate(exclude) the effect on measurement
2. I need to test charging a powerbank. I want to get data in Excel. The main is I need the tester finish the measurement when I (current) = setpoint (for example I=0).  Some powerbank charges for more than 8 hours, and I want to sleep or do my job during all proccess of charging.

Could you add some features to the software ?
I need the ability to set an automatic discharge-charge-discharge cycle and charge-discharge-charge.
I think this is a fair request, given the highly overpriced tester cost ($ 70) in comparison with other analogues and clones.

1.Yes, you can supply it with independent power supply thru PC port.
2.Yes, you can set a cutoff current for the record to automatically end.

I'm not very sure what exactly you wanted for  discharge-charge-discharge cycle", do you mean you want this meter to control the charge/discharge cycles?

My mistake. It is not possible to realize it by software only. It will be hardware modification...

discharge-charge-discharge cycle is:
1. Powerbank is discharged by electronic load to the cutoff current
2. Powerbank is disconnected from electronic load automatically
3. Powerbank is connected to power supply automatically and charged to the cutoff current
4. Powerbank is disconnected from power supply automatically and then is connected to the electronic load.
5. Powerbank is discharged by electronic load to the cutoff current
