The option for setting the sampling rate while plotting curves is obvious. However, what happens when the CT-2/CT-3 is not plotting and instead is simply accumulating mAhr data on the default screen?  Is the sample rate equal to the maximum capture rate?  If yes, then is it safe to assume that the CT-2 is sampling current at 100samples/s and the CT-3 at 1000samples/s? Likewise, is the analog bandwidth for the CT-2 and CT-3 equal to their respective Nyquist frequencies?

The accumulators on both CT-2 and CT-3 are running with a much lower frequency after a filter (The filter is not a simple averger, hard to describe). It's enough to provide accurate results for common purpose.
But if you use online data logging (1Ksps max) on CT-3, or offline data logging (100sps max, or 10 times average on original 1KHZ sampling stream), it's possible to achieve their respective nyquist frequencies (500HZ and 50HZ respectively).
